Happy Easter

We had a wonderful time celebrating Carter's first Easter with the Mennel family. We all stayed at the Lake for the weekend and attended mass in Nashville! Carter did such a good job at church....he slept through the entire mass. After church we had lunch with my family and got to see what the Easter Bunny brought for all the kiddos. Thanks the to the 40 degree weather the Easter Bunny had to hide eggs inside this year...the kids loved it just the same!

Carter's First Bath

Carter loves taking a bath. He especially loves when we wash his hair, which is a good thing considering how often we have to wash it. I still cannot believe that he has so much hair....he is already in desperate need of a haircut. Here are just a few pictures from his very first bath at home! I will spare you the pictures from a couple weeks later when I removed Carters diaper just a few short seconds too early and lets just say he ended up not being the only one in need of a bath....mommy needed washed (after she stopped laughing), baby still needed a bath, clothes needed laundered, and the floor needed mopped. Daddy to the rescue, all things survived!

He Sleeps!

Just a few pictures of our precious little Carter sleeping the day away! Well, I mean usually we do have him dressed but naked little babies are just too cute not to capture. He looks so peaceful, you should just see him at 3:00 am.

My Baby Love

Matt and I are so excited to announce that Carter Matthew Wynberry has arrived! He was born Friday February 23, 2007 at 2:37 AM. He weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long at birth. It is amazing how such a small little person can fill your heart with so much love and joy. He is truly a blessing in our lives. Matt and I look forward to the countless memories we will create as a family and cannot wait to watch Carter grow and discover all that life has to offer! In the snow

Matt, after 7 years, has finally learned to embrace Indiana winters. The past couple weekends Matt has enjoyed taking hikes through a nearby park in hopes of seeing deer and other animals playing in the snow. Although he hasnt seen any animals, he has spotted some deer tracks and has also managed to capture some pretty pictures and peace of mind.

Showered With Love

On Saturday, February 3, 2007 my sisters hosted a baby shower for me and baby Carter! The shower was absolutely wonderful and the cake was just beautiful! Family from mom and dads side were both there as well as Matts family and a few friends. Carter received tons of wonderful gifts! Clothes, books, toys, and baby essentials just to name a few. Carter got several homemade gifts which were all very cute and very special. We also received Carters swing from Shawna, Holly and Ashley and I know it will be used often. My mom bought Carters bedding and of course I had to rush home to wash it and apply it to his crib. It is BEAUTIFUL! Matt and I cannot wait until he is here so we can try out all his new stuff. It was so nice seeing everybody there to celebrate this very special up-coming moment in our lives!
