Keira celebrated their first 4
th of July this year!! As you can see, the little babes were all decked out in their red, white, and blue for the big occasion. We went to the Granny and Papa Bob's Family Picnic on Saturday and then headed to Auntie Holly and Uncle Justin's to also celebrate not only the 4
th but
Ceili's 2
nd Birthday as well! After dinner, the men played volleyball for hours while us sisters caught up on baby talk! Due to the weather not being so great, our only chance of watching fireworks were at Holly and Justin's on Saturday but by time it was showtime, little Carter was all tuckered out from all the festivities and missed his first 4
th of July Fireworks display....I guess there is always next year!
On Sunday, the men went bike riding while the girls lounged around the pool with the kids! And if you have kids then you know their is no such thing as lounging around when there are squirt guns to be played with and water acrobatics to be done. Shae was quite the gymnast in the pool doing forward and backwards rolls and handstands! Needless to say, the moms were splashed just a bit! When the guys got back from exploring Brown County's rugged terrain Uncle Justin grilled out for all of us and we had a wonderful Sunday dinner together!

It was great being with the entire family this weekend...glad everyone could make it to Ceili's party!! Sorry Carter didn't get to see the fireworks...we'll have to make sure he stays awake next year!! Love you guys!!

I think Keira and Carter had a great time hanging out with each other. They are going to be so cute chasing after each other with Ceili making sure they ok. She is such the big cousin, she just loves the babies. Had a great 4th with all of you. Although, it did seem strange not to be on a beach somewhere watching the fireworks.
I cant believe how big Carter seemed after not seeing him for a whole month! He and Keira are both growing so fast. It is fun to see them hang out together, I can only imagine how much fun they will have growing up so close. Love you guys, it was so nice to be able to hang out with everyone!!!
