Nana Wynberry Visits Indy!

This past weekend Carter had a very special guest come to visit him....his Nana Wynberry! We were so glad that she was able to make it up to Indy! On Saturday, Tim and Traci brought the boys over for a cookout and then on Sunday we took Nana to visit the Butterfly Gardens and Hilbert Conservatory at the Indianapolis Zoo. The day was hot, but the flowers and butterflies were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Carter loved looking at all the bright colors but I think he loved playing peek-a-boo with Nana even more! We had such a wonderful time and we cannot wait until we see her in Charleston...and Papa too!

Family, Fun and Fireworks

Carter and Keira celebrated their first 4th of July this year!! As you can see, the little babes were all decked out in their red, white, and blue for the big occasion. We went to the Granny and Papa Bob's Family Picnic on Saturday and then headed to Auntie Holly and Uncle Justin's to also celebrate not only the 4th but Ceili's 2nd Birthday as well! After dinner, the men played volleyball for hours while us sisters caught up on baby talk! Due to the weather not being so great, our only chance of watching fireworks were at Holly and Justin's on Saturday but by time it was showtime, little Carter was all tuckered out from all the festivities and missed his first 4th of July Fireworks display....I guess there is always next year!

On Sunday, the men went bike riding while the girls lounged around the pool with the kids! And if you have kids then you know their is no such thing as lounging around when there are squirt guns to be played with and water acrobatics to be done. Shae was quite the gymnast in the pool doing forward and backwards rolls and handstands! Needless to say, the moms were splashed just a bit! When the guys got back from exploring Brown County's rugged terrain Uncle Justin grilled out for all of us and we had a wonderful Sunday dinner together!
